A Bowl of Maggots

Have you ever wondered how a bowl of maggots would sound like? I’m sure you have. Technically speaking, these worms are larvae of a wood-loving beetle, that goes under the name of Zophobas morio. The were arranged nicely and sprinkled with vitamin powder, in order to create a healthy meal for a pet hedgehog. As it turns out, such a sight proves to be fascinating not only to an entomologist.

Recorded 11.04.2015.
